Denny Gene Holcombe was carried home by His Lord, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 29th.
Celebration of Life Service is to be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 2p.m.. The memorial will take place in the Sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church of Sweeny.

Lord Jesus, this day we celebrate the life of Denny Gene Holcombe. Through the years he has walked the halls of this Church in many capacities, Bible Study Leader, Committee worker, Fixer of the Chimes. He has blessed us with is life and his contributions. As you welcome him to his eternal home remember a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive Denny into your loving arms of mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints of eternal light. AMEN and amen.
